Waris Dance Tunic

This vibrant dance tunic is from the Waris people of the Central Mountain Range of New Guinea. The dramatic design is painted on bark cloth and fashioned into a garment with a back which is plain bark cloth. It is mounted on black linen which is stretched on a frame. It measures 20 inches wide by 26 inches long, including mounting. SOLD
