Mende Arm Band

This finely done arm band is from Mendi, in the Highlands, southwest of Mt. Hagen, Papua New Guinea. It is made of twisted bark string and split bamboo and dates from the early 20th century. It measures 10" long by 4" in diameter. It comes with a custom base and sells for $850.00
