Kutch Shawl



This beautiful shawl is from the Rabaris of the Kutch area of northwest India. It is woven in wool, tie dyed and embroidered. The 6" borders on each end have a richly embroidered design with mirror inserts similar to the motifs which run the length of the textile. It dates to the early 20th c., measures 108" long by 34" wide and sells for $1500.00
