Coconut Spoon

This old, carved coconut shell spoon is from New Guinea and was collected in 1969 in the Abelam area. It shows a full male figure with an enlarged head which forms the handle. The surface shows some nice patina which indicates use. It measures 5" in length by 4" at its widest point. It dates to the mid-20th century and sells for $450.00
