Bamileke Resist Dye

This superb textile is used by the Bamileke of grasslands Cameroon. It is strip woven of very fine cotton and resist dyed with indigo after being stitched with rafia. This is an early 20th century example. It measures 27" wide by 48 1/2" long and sells for $350.00
